Socks In The Rockies

     Starting this Monday, July 27th, The Stitchin’ Den will be hosting Socks In The Rockies. This is a social group for all of you who love to knit socks. Whether you are working on your first sock or your 401st sock, join us on Monday from 5P until 7P. This group is free and surprise refreshments will be served. There will also be 10% off all regularly priced supplies purchased during this group.
     We will meet again on Monday, August 10th and 24th from 5P to 7P.

No!!  You don’t HAVE to knit socks to come.  Heck!  You don’t even have to knit!!  Just come.  Caution!!  You will probably be knitting socks before long.  So why fight it now!

Sizzling Sock Series of Exciting Classes

Beginning to Knit Socks

Want to knit socks for the first time?  Need a refresher?  This class is perfect!!!  Learn all you need to knit your first pair of socks while knitting on double pointed needles. 

  • Cost: $30.00 plus supplies at 10% off
  • Dates: Tuesday, August 11th, 18th and 25th, 530P – 730P
  • Instructor: Emily Goss-Crona

You must be a confident beginner and know how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off.  Bring your knitting tools.

Toe Up Two At A time Socks
Hooked on socks now that you have knitted your first pair on double points?  This class will teach you how to knit two at a time from the toe up.  No, I am not kidding.  Toe up AND on circular needles. 

  • Cost: $30.00 plus supplies at 10% off
  • Dates: Thursday, August 13th, 27th and September 3rd, 530P – 730P
  • Instructor: Emily Goss-Crona

Bring your knitting “tools”.
This class is for confident beginners and beyond. You must have knitted at least one pair of socks.   
  
Socks On Circular Needles
Round and round we go while knitting one sock at a time on two circular needles from the cuff down.

  • Cost: $30.00 plus supplies at 10% off
  • Dates: Wednesday, September 2nd, 9th and 16th, 530P – 730P
  • Instructor: Emily Goss-Crona

Bring your knitting “tools.
This class is for the confident beginner who has knitted at least one pair of socks. 
Round and round we continue to go while kniting one sock on one circular needle. 

Circular Saga for Socks Part 2

  • Cost: $30.00 plus supplies at 10% off.
  • Dates: Thursday, October 1st, 8th and 15th from 530P – 730P
  • Instructor: Emily Goss-Crona

Bring your knitting “tools”.
This class is for the confident beginner who has knitted at least one pair of socks.

Socks With Picot Edge
This class will teach you how to create a decorative edging along your cuff.
 

  • Cost: $40.00 plus supplies at 10% off.
  • Dates: Thursday, October 22nd and 29th, 530P – 730P.

Bring your knitting “tools”.
You must have knitted at least one pair of socks prior to taking this class.
