Fiber Fun Fest

Wow!!!  If you didn’t attend the Fiber Fun Fest at The Budweiser Event Center you missed out on some fun.  Even though the weather was cold and challenging, those who came enjoyed the explosion of fibers, dun and educational opportunities.  The Stitchin’ Den hosted its Stash Bustin’ booth.  If you want to hear more about our booth and Stash Bustin’, sign up for our newsletter.

Imagine This!

What fun.  We had one good finger stick, but the good news is no one had to go to the ER.  Okay, I am exaggerating a bit.  Deb and Pam did great.  Thanks to Beth for volunteering.

Front Range Knitting Guild

I recently joined the Front Range Knitter’s Guild and I am attending my first meeting this morning.  It is at The Budweiser Event Center on Interstate 25 just north of Highway 34.  In the Estes room at 9:30AM.   Thanks to Deb, Pam and Donna who are holding down the fort (or should I say The Den) up in Estes Park.  Deb and Pam are hosting our booth at Imagine This! in Estes at the Mountainview Baptist Church Gymnasium.  Donna is at the shop.  Whenever Donna is alone in the shop something springs a leak, backs up or electronically explodes.  Good luck Donna.  The staff at The Stitchin’ Den is getting ready to start the Master Knitting Program through the National Knitters Guilde.

Road To Estes Update

Yaaahoooo!!!!  I just got an e-mail from C-Dot that Highway 34 should reopen tonight after 6PM.  I enjoyed going a different route, but it was longer.  Leah’s coffee and gift shop in Geln Haven is worth the drive.

Road To Estes Park

Hi All!!!  Just wanted to let everyone know that the road going to Estes Park via Highway 34 is open.  However, you have to drive through Glen Haven to get there.  It adds about 10/15 minutes to the trip in the daytime and 20/30 minutes in the dark.  Hope to see you soon.  Susan at The Stitchin’ Den
