The Class is $35.00 plus supplies.  There is still time to join this class.  This class is taught by Bev Goodwin of Greeley.  Refreshments will be served.

The Beaded Bolero Jacket class starts  Saturday, April 17th and repeats on April 24th and May 8th from 10:AM until 3:00PM.  We have three spots open for this confident beginner class.  Learn how to knit a sweater and add beads to your project at the same time.  Ann Young is teaching this class.  Ann lives in Loveland and designs for Brown Sheep Yarn Company and Zealana.

Yarn Market News Conference

What a great time!!!  I went to a yarn shop retailer's retreat in Seattle at the beginning of March. It was great to visit Seattle for the first time and spend time with other Yarn Shop owners dedicated to customer service.  On top of the great time learning asbout ways to insure my customers have a great time, I got to knit.  Alot!!!   The picture is of me knitting on the plane and using the pattern from South West Trading Company using a great technique.  Entrelac without short rows.

Highway Update

Highway 34 is open and is in good order.  No more detour through Glenhaven.

Highway 34 Update

Well, I am back to driving though Glen Haven for a few more days.  The road is in good shape even though it has been fairly cold.  I think it takes me about 10 minues more during the day and 20 to 30 minutes after dark.

Fiber Fun Fest

Wow!!!  If you didn’t attend the Fiber Fun Fest at The Budweiser Event Center you missed out on some fun.  Even though the weather was cold and challenging, those who came enjoyed the explosion of fibers, dun and educational opportunities.  The Stitchin’ Den hosted its Stash Bustin’ booth.  If you want to hear more about our booth and Stash Bustin’, sign up for our newsletter.

Imagine This!

What fun.  We had one good finger stick, but the good news is no one had to go to the ER.  Okay, I am exaggerating a bit.  Deb and Pam did great.  Thanks to Beth for volunteering.
