        February Lady Sweater

:: Many knitters have made lots of scarves and a few other items, but have not felt confident enough to take on a sweater. This is the sweater to try. You will need worsted weight yarn and size 8 needles, so it should work up quickly. The fit is a bit loose, but easy to do. The 4-row lace pattern looks more challenging than it really is. You can learn to do it with knit and purl stitches, increases and decreases. Should we mention that 11,250 knitters on Ravelry have made this, while another 11,890 have it in their project queue? It’s popular—come find out why!
