Designed by Paula Pereira, a knitwear designer and instructor, based in São Paulo, Brazil, is very excited to be a part of our class. She will be skyping with us during one of our classes so that she can share all of her tips to make your sweater a success!
Missoni’s iconic chevrons served as inspiration for Pereira’s slightly boxy pullover, worked from the top down in Cascade Yarns’ Venezia Worsted. Short rows shape the back neck and lower back, while substantial ribbing at the neck, hem and cuffs imitates the elastic look of the yoke.
Class Description: Learn how to knit this oversized pullover with iconic chevron
colorwork. You will learn how to knit a top down sweater, use short rows to shape the back neck and lower back. In addition, you will learn ribbing techniques on the neck, hem and cuffs.
Prerequisite skills: In order for you to feel comfortable in this class, students should have basic knitting skills, have knit in the round before and be familiar with fair isle technique.
Pattern is in Vogue Knitting Winter Magazine 2017/2018
