Prerequisite skills: In order for you to feel comfortable in this class, students should know how to cast on, knit, purl, cast off. Great class for beginning knitters who want to increase their skill level.

Materials Needed: Paula will provide the pattern and scrap yarn; 1 skein of yarn; 2 sets of size 13 needle straight or 24” circular (one set can be a double point needle); cable needle; size J crochet hook; tapestry needle, scissors

Yarn Recommended: 1 skein of Brown Sheep Lambs Pride Bulky

Class Outcomes: Student will increase their confidence and knitting knowledge by completing a headband. This project will focus on learning how to perform left and right cables. Student will also learn how to do a provisional cast on and three needle bind off.

Most students will be able to complete the whole headband during class and
will walk away with an amazing cable headband.
