Class Description: This is a beginner Brioche class.  You will learn the Brioche stitch, increasing and decreasing, fixing mistakes and start a project.

Location:  The Stitchin’ Den in Estes Park

Instructor: Jean Gillies

Cost: $60 per student

Class Size:  4-6

Number of Sessions: 3

Date(s): Thursdays: 2:00 pm-4:00 pm June, 24, July, 8 and July 22 2021

Prerequisite skills:  In order for you to feel comfortable in this class, students should know how to cast on and knit.

Materials Needed:  Two contrasting colors of yarn and needles appropriate for the chosen yarn and pattern.

Yarn: We recommend:

 Kenzi by Hikoo or Sueno DK by Hikoo or Dreambaby

24” circular-Size 7 or 8 needles or size to obtain gauge

Stitch markers

Stitch holders or scrap yarn or extra cords

Tapestry needle

Scissors


Materials Provided:  Basic Brioche Instructions

Class Outcomes: Students will learn to knit Brioche, increase and decrease and fix mistakes.

Please arrange to arrive at least 5 minutes before the class is scheduled to begin.  You may want to arrive earlier so that we can help you select materials or to browse through the shop.  We make an effort to stock the supplies that you need, so if you do not have all the materials listed for the class, we can help.
