The Birdwatcher sweater pattern by Casapinka is a slightly cropped summer top that looks great in speckled or tonal yarns. (You can make it longer if you choose, but you will need more yarn.) It is constructed in the round, from the bottom up, to the underarms. You then knit back and forth, separately, using short rows, until finally joining with a three needle bind off to connect the front and back.
This pattern uses a 24” circular size 4 needle (or size to obtain gauge). Needles in the same size in either 16" circular or double pointed will be required to finish the sleeve.
