Learn how to make warm felted clog slippers, techniques include increases, short rows, knitting in the round, picking up stitches, three needle bind off and felting.
Knitting 101-Knit in the Round would be a great prerequisite for this class.

Prerequisite skills: In order for you to feel comfortable in this class, students should know how to knit, purl, cast on and bind off and knit in the round.
Materials Needed: 3-4 skeins of yarn, pattern, needles (you will need Size 13 24” circular needles and 16” circular needle (preferred) or double pointed needles, tapestry needle, stitch markers and optional Fiber Trends Suede Slipper soles. Ravelry Pattern-Felted Clogs (AC33e). We have printed patterns in the shop as well.
Yarn Recommended: 100% worsted weight wool, Cascade 220, or Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride, student could choose a different color for the cuffs and/or novelty yarn. If they choose a different color for the cuff they will need one ball of yarn for the cuff; and 3 balls for the main color. Avoid white and light colors as they do not felt well.
Class Outcomes: Student will learn how to increase, wrap & turn, joining in the round, pick up stitches, three needle bind off and how to felt. This project makes a perfect Christmas gift! I have made many over the years and they are always a favorite!
