Prerequisite skills: In order for you to feel comfortable in this class, you should feel comfortable with your sewing machine, sewing a 1/4" seam, and sewing a square and/or strips.
Hexagon Trim Tools by Creative Grids
1/2 yard of focus fabric, which will be fussy cut
1 yard of medium color fabric for piecing and backing
1/2 yard dark color fabric for piecing and center hexagon
1 3/4" x width of fabric that blends well with focus fabric
30" x 30" batting
50 weight cotton thread (Aurifil recommended)
Marking chalk pencil
80/12 Microtex needles
Sewing machine in good sewing condition (first 4 students that sign up may reserve on of the machines provided at the shop)
Sewing essentials, scissors, seam ripper, etc.
